  Had a really nice stay. Overall very few complaints, really enjoyed watching the deer from the back deck. Good size house for six to eight people. Only a couple of issues,the garbage can enclosure becomes very smelly after a couple of days because there
  is no ventilation. In several places there were cob webs that looked like they had been there for a while, housekeeping needs to look more closely for these. Finally, the carpet is desperately in need of replacement.

  We had a wonderful time at #12 Poplar Lane, the house was very well equipped and we loved sitting on the deck in the evening and watching the deer forage in the area around the house. The house was very clean but the spa had a weird sap like substance
  in it, the spa cleaning service wiped it when they came for the weekly cleaning and said it was from the chemicals. We would definitely come again and recommend to our friends.

  There was just a musty odor that could either be fixed with new carpeting or changing the air filter in the air conditioner unit or changing the freon in the air conditioning. Loved the spaciousness, the location and the abundant wildlife. The wi-fi was painfully slow - not the best feature.

  Nice location, good house. just needs some updating and upgrading. queen bed in 2nd downstairs master is unsleepable. every breath means a squeak. needs to be replaced. dryer needs service, some settings simply don't work. hot tub could use some cleaning. flat screen tv needs to warm up to get rid of snow? really?

    We will look into these issues and get them corrected. UPDATE: We corrected everything addressed in the above comment. As for the bed, it is less than 1 yr old, we adjusted and tightened it and it is just fine now.

  The house is spacious, well maintained and the jacuzzi room is great after a day of skiing. The photos do not do the rooms justice. All the rooms are big and bright. We will visit again.

  only problems were that the fireplace wouldn't stay lit. they came out 4 times, but just kept relighting it, instead of fixing it! gave me $50 discount. also the appliances in the kitchen are getting a bit old, oven and microwave very slow (but all work). could use a bit of updating on decorations. was warm, clean and nice.

  I emailed to see if I needed to make a reservation for Maverick's rock climbing wall. I was told no but when we went there for my son's birthday we found out they do take reservations and were booked all the rest of our stay. If I had been given correct ifo I would have made the reservation. It also would would be helpful for the website & brochures would explain to bring your own towels to Mavericks...that was a hastle. Otherwise all was wonderful! I loved the basket for the dog with treats, leashes, blanket, etc.

  The home was nicer than I expected. It was nice and big for the 8 of us. The house was clean and had everything we needed and then some. The fireplace was wonderful being able to see it from the kitchen and the living room. The hot tub room was our favorite! We will come back to this home.

  We discussed the accomodations while we were staying and all 10 of us said we would come back in a heartbeat. One suggestion is that the instructions listed regarding the fireplace, you add
  "glass doors must be open whenever fireplace is in use". Everything else was just fine, well appointed kitchen, large pots, pan etc. We had a great time and hope to return again. Thanks for sharing you lovely home with us. A very satisfied customer. Have a good day.

  The house was nice but, could be improved by the following:
  
  newer appliances- especially the oven- would be nice. The burners were slow and the oven small.
  
  The master bedroom was VERY COLD. It would have been nice to have a heater at least and more blankets!!!!
  
  the house needs to have more towels: towels are needed for showers for all occupants, the hot tub and to go to mavericks. There were not enough towels to go around for all of those things.

    Thank you for taking the time to fill out the review. We looked into the heating and there was an issue that has been fixed. The towels that are put into the homes are 1 1/2 times the amount of people the home sleeps. There are also towels left for the hot tub. I don't know if that amount was not left at the home for your stay but if it were than people usually just use the washer and dryer for the towels. If there were not please keep in mind next time that you can give us a call and we'll take care of what you need.   Great house. Only problem we had was the refrigerator/freezer was not working when we arrived. Maintenance fixed it the next morning. House has lots of storage & closet space. Floor plan is ideal. Lots of stairs which was fine for us but should be noted in the description.

  Everything we had hoped for and more. The only negative item was the refridgerator was not working properly. The freezer would not keep anything frozen as our meats, ice cream, organge juice concentrate, etc. all thawed out while in the freezer.

  The appliances were in need of replacement or repair. The oven did not work correctly, most likely the heating element was shot,coffee pot would not keep coffee warm and the refrigerator freezer completely quit the last day of our stay.We lost food in freezer. I did report these problems to Discover Rentals when I checked out.The house was great....lots of room and we loved the ping pong table in the garage!

  Great house!! Great separation of space. We loved everything about it and had a great time. (Be advised there were lots of stairs so if you have a problem with stairs, this place is not for you!) Otherwise, it's perfect for a party of 10! Two master en suite bedrooms and a great upstairs for the kids.

  There were some doggie smells when we first arrived. The carpet had just been cleaned, but a large area rug had not. That seemed to be where the odor came from. We dried out the wet carpets with the many fans we found about the house. Some cleaning of our own and Fabreeze helped with the smells. It is a well used house but roomy. I would rent it again.
