  Lots of rooms and TV. Great room is a little small but the kitchen and double oven were nice and there was a good sized dining table. Very clean, well cared for home. Large garage for the ski stuff. Had 9 staying in the home and it worked great.

  Our favorite home in Sun River is this one on Yellow Pine. Exposed log beams and rock fireplace are quite impressive. Plenty of room for all to gather in the great room, out on the deck or just hang out in the kitchen. The bedrooms are very comfortable
  with a TV in each room. I can imagine this would be an exceptional choice for those with families as well as couples. Great house to make some great memories!

  Everything was perfect with our stay at #1 Yellow Pine Ln. It was a great place to spend time with family relaxing and recreating. My only negitive comment is that the kitchen floor was dirty. We had a 1 yr old with us who was crawling all over. We washed
  it and went on with our wonderful vacation at Sunriver, one of our favorite vacation spots in the country!

  The living area reallly is smaller than expected and closed in (dark) with narrow table area and kitchen. But nice deck and it was good to have the separate sleeping areas-so you have to give somewhere!

This was our 2nd time staying in this house, and hope to stay there again when we return in a couple of years. The owner has provided everything you need, and the special attention to detail is noticed and appreciated. The rental management company does an excellent job. The property is very well taken care of and clean. We'll be back again in 2 yrs.!

  We enjoyed everything about this rental and the process. The only downside was that the King matress in the downstairs master bedroom was uncomfortable. My husband and I chose to switch to one of the upstairs queens after the first restless night. 2 in our party did't show, so this worked out ok. Other than that, the rate was great, all amenities were wonderful, and the property manager was helpful. A comination of dry snow and clear beautiful sunshine made for a wonderful vacation. we would definitely come again.

  Our group of 12 fit comfortably in this home. The access to Mavericks was great. Kids got to use the pool. Adults could get a workout. The fireplace didn't work the 1st night but someone came out quickly and fixed it. Some of the frying pans could be replaced as the non-stick coatings are coming off and including a baking pan would be nice (we had to improvise when baking cookies). But overall, a great home.

  Snow was falling when we arrived at Yellow Pine #1, but the house was warm and cozy, the hot tub was hot and bubbling, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived.   Yellow Pine is a great location, loved the deck with view of deer and other wild life. Owners could provide plastic dishes for children and better knives would be a great addition or bring your own. We would definitely stay at Yellow Pine again or any rental thru Discover Sunriver, great management company.

  4) one of the two bikes was missing a lugnut on the front forks (we didn't notice until we were out biking)... I fixed.
  5) in general, the house was not up to the Sunriver standards I'm used to.

  The house was a nice size for six adults and three children. The big table in the kitchen was nice as was the picnic table on the large. The children fed carrots to the deer. Nice to have two bicycles in the garage. Many items were provided and appreciated. I must mention a few negatives which would not keep me away: knives wouldn't cut French bread, the lid to a nice size pan was missing, the master bed is the latest fad--high off the floor even for us tall people. Lots of towels provided. The only real negative were the mosquitoes and they were bad. The rental office said it was a bad year for mosquitoes and they were especially bad during our time there. Fortunately, the area was sprayed at night mid-stay and we all started using 30% Deet and it helped. There are a lot of activities but they are not bargains except for bringing your own bicycles, walking, or using the swimming pools included. The cleaning fee is reasonable. Too bad the rental office did not inform us that the name of the real estate company had changed from the name printed on our information about where to pick-up the keys--after a long drive the village and office location were confusing.

• #1 Yellow Pine was a nice house. The oven doors didn't close completely. Also the smaller of the bikes needed the bolts screwed on tighter. We had to tighten them by hand so it might be a good idea to have some simple tools in a drawer someplace.

  Since we had never been to Sunriver before it would have been helpful if we were guided to a location that would have had a little easier access to either Mavericks or main town. Also Mavericks had some misleading advertisement. They said there was a lazy river which we found out won't be constructed for another few years. The wave-runner was mis-leading as well. It cost an additional $10 to all and they had a limited amount of people who could use it. By the time we got there, which was only a few minutes after they opened it had reached max. cap. and my kids we'ren't able to use it.

    We have not advertised Mavericks as having a lazy river. The Flowrider is very popular and they restrict the number of people per session so the people who have paid for a session will get the maximum number of rides.

  We had a good overall stay but on Saturday night we were doing dishes and the faucet handle broke off in the sink. We called right away knowing we would be inconvenienced in the kitchen for the rest of our stay but the maintenance person said he would not/could not come until the next day. We said we would have trouble doing dishes and it would make checkout difficult and he said he wasn't worried about that. (But we were) The next morning he called and made the decision to come after we were gone. We were without water in the kitchen for 16 hours of our stay. Granted 4 of those hours were dedicated to sleep (Some of us stayed up until 2, others got up at 6) but we were inconvenienced through 2 meals (dinner and breakfast) and checkout time when we could have used the sink for disposing of things from the refrigerator. Also, the hot tub temperature went down to 96 degrees and didn't come up to a temperature warm enough to enjoy. I don't know if someone bumped the button and it got turned down or if there was a thermostat problem. If the faucet and the hot tub had been working (or fixed in a timely manor) this house would have gotten 5 stars across the board.

    We are sorry for the inconvenience you experienced while staying with us at Discover Sunriver. My maintenace team was able to fix the faucet late the next day after locating a new retaining clip that was cracked inside the handle. I have spoke with my employee, and he feels sorry that you have been inconvienced while staying with us; he admits that the best procedure would have been to assess the situation that night, so we could have located the part and repaired the faucet prior to your departure that morning. The comments addressing the hottub were forwarded immediately to the hottub company and they have assured me that the hottub is now working. Sincerly, Jim Bergeron Maintenance Manager.

  On Friday, July 4th, we had dinner plans that required the oven and stove. Unfortunately, the power was out for some hours on that day. I imagine this was not in your control, but thought I'd mention it, as it did put a damper on our 4th of July celebration.

  This house was beautiful. I noticed that it was one of the newer homes in Sunriver. We used the South Pool the most during our stay and it was definitely a trek to get over there. We had kids ranging from 3 to 13. The older kids had no problem biking that far but it was too far for my little kiddos so we ended up driving a bit more than I hoped. I would definitely stay in this home again.
