  Had a great time! Lovely home. The only thing we would change, new fry pans. The one's there are old and everything sticks to them. The kitchen has no working counter space, but we managed. And we all thought a TV in the living room would have been nice. Other than that we had a great time and would definately stay here again. The house is huge and accommidated our large family perfectly. Thanks

  A little upset with all the dead bugs around, not sure when it had been checked last. I realize it's bug season there, but if you are renting a property, I would think that would be checked the day of or before people arrive. A beautiful view of the river and very relaxing sitting on the porch. Just what we needed. It did take us awhile to get the directions down, but it was worth it. Golf courses are beautiful there. Not a bad view from anywhere.

  Everyone enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, and also loved the sauna, jacuzzi, and the ability to have several cooks in the kitchen. Would recommend a better barbeque unit. The temperature stayed at 300 degrees.

  We all had a great time time. The house was perfect for all of my family. The view was great 20 steps from the lake well if there were not snow but wonderful. We would stay at that house every year.

  We had a great mini-family reunion here. Location right on the Deschutes cannot be beat, kayaking was fun. Home was large and comfortable for 5 couples, a teen and a baby. Two suggestions: check gas in grill (we ran out), and add blinds in family room.

  Mosquitoes were very bad, that will be a consideration next visit. Also the hot tub jets not working well....Other than that we had a wonderful time in a lovely place.

    Those pesky mosquitos were bad this year. More than normal due to our extremely wet spring. We adjusted the hot tub jets. Thanks for the heads up!

  We had three generations together for a wonderful time in Sunriver. the main attraction of this house is its beautiful view of the river and the easy access to the river for the various kayaks and rafts that we had.

  The view is incredible! We had some rainy days during our stay but didn't mind a bit because of the covered decks. It's a perfect home for 2 couples since there are 2 levels. It's also very great for the furry kids since there is great access on the bottom level to the outside for potty breaks. There is also a great walking path that follows the river. DS was very responsive with rushing over a cheese grater that we did not find in the kitchen. The kitchen was great but there were some things that we thought should be included like coffee filters, sugar, paper towels, etc. DS took a list from us and probably has remedied this already. Also, it would be nice if there were blinds in the main level master bedroom for privacy and to block the light which will surely wake you up at 6am on your vacation. I do highly recommend this property!

  The guys and I had a great time at this property. Good amount of bed rooms and room configuration for 5 guys. The location was wonderful.

• $ value? At almost $1,000/night, one expects a great kitchen. #13 Siskin is outdated with tired appliances, including washer/dryer. Enough plates, glasses, etc. but cooking utensils are limited.

  By August, the bedding is beginning to look tired, as well. We have had this problem before when renting late in the season. The home itself is nicely designed, decorated nicely and comfortably furnished. Location, location, location speaks for the property.

  We've stayed just about everywhere in Sunriver over the years and the river views of this home were better than even the golf course views. Wonderful Home! Appliances were a little dated but were easily overlooked with all the other wonderful amenties - large jetted tubs, sauna, large area & river views from Hot Tub. Would love to rent again!!

  We had a bunch of friends stay at 13 Siskin in mid-September for a long weekend. Although some of the room layouts were a bit poorly designed, the hot tub and the riverfront location were amazing. We had a BBQ on Friday night and twilight was a wonderfully beautiful time. Also, the bikes were useful and the property is relatively easy to get to from the highway. Very nice indeed!

  We enjoyed our stay in Sunriver with our children and grandchildren. Our daughter and her family had never been there.... and after our stay, she is totally spoiled. The house was very amendable to our needs and we loved being on the river. The grandchildren spent quite a time trying to catch fish. We could also stop by the house for lunch on our canoe trip down the Deschutes River. The eating areas were perfect for our family and we were pleasantly surprised by the adequate number of bicycles in the garage. We all had a great time.

  Rented this same house a few years ago and it's placement along the Deshutes makes the vacation. Appliances are starting to become dated but overall the setting more than offsets any minor negatives we may have had.
