Stayed 6 days in August, 2008
A very nice reverse-living house with all necessary appliances. Has a heat pump which helps keep the upstairs living area more comfortable on hot summer afternoons (living room faces south and west, so it gets hot). House is located in the Fort Rock Park area, convenient for a family with small children.
This is the second time we have stayed in this house. The same two minor issues ocurred the second time:
1. Carpets were a bit dirty as are all rentals in Sunriver due to volcanic dust being tracked in. It's hard to avoid it unless everyone takes off their shoes before entering (not likely).
2. The shower head in the upstairs bath does not have a mixing valve that controls temperature/pressure fluctuations due to changes in flow (flushing toilet, etc), so extreme hot and cold surges gave us a few exciting moments. The downstairs shower is probably the same (I did not check it).
The only thing we wish we had was wireless internet access, a convenience that seems to be more of a "necessity" with teens these days. It is also becoming pretty commonplace in Sunriver rentals through the cable TV company.
All in all, a comfortable home to rent and we would rent it again.
