Nestled into the trees two miles north of Sunriver's shops and eateries, the house is surrounded by the sweet smell of the ponderosa pines. Mt Bachelor, with its excellent skiing, is 22 miles away, and Bend is an easy day trip of 17 miles. Fort Rock Park is a short drive away.

Enjoy a lazy afternoon watching TV in front of a crackling fire. The open-concept layout makes it easy to spend time with people in other spaces while you relax in the living room. If you're stuck on ideas for dinner, log onto the WiFi and look up a recipe.

The beautiful kitchen is a dream to work in, with updated appliances and granite countertops. Prepare a meal and then have a seat at the dining table, with room for six. A dishwasher takes care of the cleanup when you're done. There's even a newly upgraded gas grill outside, if you're in the mood for a barbecue.

A family of up to six will be very comfortable in the home's three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a beautiful queen bed and a cozy sitting area, as well as a master bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, while the third has two twins. Each bedroom has its own TV, in case people want to watch different things.

In addition to the master bathroom, there's a second full bathroom, so it's no sweat to schedule mirror time. There's a private washer and dryer, so don't feel any need to overpack.

There are plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy. Sunriver has world-class golf, and plenty of tennis courts. Once you've gotten in a workout, go for a relaxing massage at the Sage Springs Spa. Head to SHARC (passes are included in the home) for more pools and hot tubs!

Take a trip to nearby Bend, a favorite among tourists. Kids love the High Desert Museum, which has exhibits about the natural and cultural history of the area. See a show at the Tower Theatre, then get dinner at Spork, Bend's best fusion restaurant.
